Artist’s Statement
In The Oort Cloud, the artist explores the underlying structure of the universe and the possibility of dimensions beyond human perception. Inspired by string theory and M-theory, the painting imagines space not as a single, continuous expanse, but as a layered reality.
At the composition’s visual center lies the solar system, enveloped by the Oort Cloud, which becomes a symbolic boundary between the familiar and the unknown. Beyond it, successive layers suggest unseen dimensions, inviting viewers to imagine realities that extend beyond the limits of observation.
Rather than offering a literal scientific diagram, the painting translates theoretical ideas into a visual meditation on the cosmos—its hidden structures, its mysteries, and our place within it.
